We are noted for our fishing, scalloping, bird watching, hunting, spectacular sunsets, and peaceful atmosphere.
A small beach 2 blocks away and 700’ fishing pier.
It's a nice little park. We were back up to the gulf. Unfortunately, we didn't see a beautiful sunset.. lots of clouds, but great views. We there in April 2023. I hope they made it through Hurricane Idalia this past week Aug, 2023.
Two nites right on the water. Not fancy but on the water. Owner lady was super nice to us. $25. PA
Lovely location far from hustle and bustle. I was fortunate to get a site right up on the ocean. Site was level dirt. Utilities worked well. Wifi was not super fast but sufficient for my needs. No cable. No clubhouse or other amenities. Price was reasonable. Just know that you are away from the city here, so don't expect restaurants and entertainment. Just enjoy the lovely ocean view.
We were here May 2018 after all the hurricane damage. We had a front row site on the gulf but it was look only. They had a nice new deck over the water and sunsets were fantastic. The only non-rocky area was at Keaton Beach at the end of the block out of the campground. They do not have a bath house or bathrooms. They washed away with the house of the lady running the place. They do have a place to launch your boat. The marina across the street is gone but they are rebuilding.
Very nice and quite. Back up to water. Lady that runs the place very nice and helpful. Will come back again
If you are looking for an upscale RV resort, with all the bells and whistles, this isn't it. But if you want a beautiful site, quiet surroundings, great fishing, and nice people, this is the place for you. The owner, Lynn, is truly concerned with your stay. This is a small park, there is no cable, and very little you can pick up on antenna, but there is great quality WiFi. The bath house is basic, but always clean. If you want to relax, and get away from it all, this is the place. We loved it, and so did our 5 and 7 year old grand sons.
We are definitely coming back to Keaton Beach next year and will spend several days here. What a beautiful RV park, right on the Gulf of Mexico. The back-end of our motorhome can't be more than 20 feet from the water. My wife has the back window open, and is watching the birds fly, the waves coming up on the shore, and we can hear the sounds of a thunderstorm approaching, with the rain starting to hit the roof. You need a rainy day now and then to calm your nerves. I told my wife that when we come back, I want to employ the services of one of the fishing guides just down the beach, and go out and catch something big. The lady who runs "The Old Pavilion RV Park" was very helpful. When I went into the office, she said "I'll bet you have a "Passport America" membership. She probably saw the big sticker on our back window. Good WiFi and cable television with lots of channels, including CNN, HBO, and Hazel was up early this morning checking out her favorite "Today Show" on NBC. Check-out time is at hand, so we are reluctantly putting things away, and will be heading on towards Panama City to visit relatives on our way back to Minnesota.
