Great little park with its own pond, and the kids who own it (or run it or both), so accommodating! I really appreciate them so very much! It's also a Passport America park which makes such a great little RV park that much better for those of us who have to keep an ion are spending. I really appreciate them very much. I got 2 peaceful nights off the road and rode my ebike to a couple of produce stands and around Oaktown, it's all close by! What a great time! Oh, and if you want some excellent all you can eat food served pretty much buffet style, ( And I believe they cook pretty much all of it themselves!) Try McKinley Orchards Restaurant on Old US Highway 41, amazing, and maybe a mile away? Such great people and service! $20 bill gets you all you can eat on the dinner, fresh rolls, desserts, and all the lemonade I could drink and then some! So many reasons to give you to spend a little time at this quaint little park. And let me know if you find the swing that overlooks the pond, what a view! A huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to both of you for this much needed break. ???? And one more thing, they have propane here as well, the best price I've paid on having my rig topped in quite a long time. Stop in!
We have stayed at New Vision RV park 2 times & I can truthfully say it is the cleanest, best RV park I have seen in 35 years of RVing from Alaska to Key West. We will be on our way back in June 2011.
We are parked in New Vision RV Park LLC Oaktown, Indiana. We think that you should know that although it is a small campground, it is very well kept. There is a pond where you can fish. At the moment it has a family of Canadian geese (mom, dad, and five little ones). They also have a laundry which is spotless. The owner is helpful and comes around several times a day. He checks to see if everything is okay of if we ever need anything. When someone does a good job, we think they should be identified. We had very high winds and hard rain and he checked on everyone there.
