We are a family friendly park with a mixture of open fields and areas of mature trees, bordered by a small river on one side. Our sites are level and grassy, with some pull thru and some back in. We have been serving our camping guests since 1985.
On major holidays and some other weekends, we host activities such as potlucks, horseshoe tournaments, children's events (Halloween, etc), barbecues, auctions, and more. All proceeds from ticketed activities go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Nearby attractions include wineries, breweries, restaurants, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, covered bridges, Kringle Candle Store, Yankee Candle Village, Historic Deerfield, Bridge of Flowers, and more!
This is a wonderful family friendly Campground that I have visited over a dozen times so far. Very well-maintained grounds and facilities, several nice sites along the river, fire pits at all sites and a large pavilion area available for use. It has a large clubhouse with games, books tables and comfortable sitting areas reminding me of family run campgrounds of 50 years or more ago. Several attractions Brattleboro, Vermont, and Quechee Gorge are only a dozen miles away, Greenfield and Deerfield Massachusetts are very close and it is convenient to I-91 or routes 5 and 2. Prices are reasonable and there is also a small convenience store on site.
