Ivy Green, birthplace of Helen Keller is only fifty miles east at Tuscumbia, Al. and Elvis Presley's birthplace is fifty miles south at Tupelo, MS. Visit Corinth's Veranda-Curlee House, a National Historic Landmark that was built in 1857. It was used by both Confederate and Union Generals. It was used to organize the attack on Shiloh by the Confederate.
