We stayed at Champs for three nights in July 2019. Would not hesitate to do so again, nor to recommend it to anyone else. It is located in an excellent location to explore northeastern New York, western Vermont, and the history therein. The bathrooms and showers are exceptionally clean, and the subtle touches of fresh flowers and artwork are equally welcome and delightful to behold. The park itself is small, which is a good thing in our opinion, since this quality helps to maintain the relaxing ambiance. And the food at the restaurant! Oh, boy! It's great!
My husband and I just competed a 14 day stay at Champs RV Park while we worked on our boat in Vermont. Since we are members of another travel service, we didn't use Passport-America this trip but we certainly will in the future. Champs RV, while small with 26 spaces, has everything else that you could want or need! Great bathrooms and showers, wonderful laundry facilities on-site, a recreation hall, an outdoor breakfast/lunch wagon plus a new restaurant which serves dinner from Tuesday through Saturday! We ate dinner there when it first opened and both of us had great meals. Sal, the owner, and Liz, have invested a lot of energy into making this a great campground and, after 2 weeks, we can attest to the fact that this is a wonderful stop -- either for one night or a season!
