Take US 64 to Cold Branch Rd, take that road to the end where you’ll be at the Tusquittee Tavern on Tusdquittee Rd, and turn right. Go down about two miles and the Enchanted Forest is on the right. There are three massive orange mushrooms at the entrance.
Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the hanging teapots and toadstools heralding the entrance to Alice’s White Bunny Cottage and the Red Queen’s Cottage, which is sure to steal your heart with its red, black, white, and gold touches.
The Enchanted Forest backs into Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest, which boasts three large lakes, two major rivers and three reservoirs that offer a variety of recreation. Also, many attractions and restaurants in nearby towns: Hayesville, NC and towns in Georgia: Hiawasee, Helen, Blairsville, and nearby metro areas: 2 hours from Atlanta and Athens, 2 hours away from Asheville or Chattanooga, and 2 1/2 hours from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area or Knoxville, Tennessee.
