We are on the River, where the grass is green; even our showers and laundry are clean. Lots of trees for the birds of the air, you can sit by the river and forget all your cares! If you build a fire a mountain man might come, to tell you a tale that may be tall, but always fun for all. So bring your RV, tent or jeep, to camp with us a day, a month or a week. Cable and clean water we always provide, so come stay with the friendly folks on the river side!

Laughing Alpaca, funny name, fun spot. This was a very lovingly cared for RV Park. The young owners have done so much since taking over and even have plans to actually have Alpacas there someday in the future. The spaces are very nice, many shady spots and river front spots on the sleepy Illinois river. Clean bathrooms and a group area to hang in if desired. Nice chill spot before we headed to busy Grants Pass. Stay a few days and Jeff Rene and “Willy”(camp dog greeter, will make you feel at home.
So relaxing! We stopped for the nite using PA and stayed a week because we loved it so much. Beautiful landscape, river access & views; Clean, affordable laundry; We will absolutely be back! Our 3 1/2 year old loved it here. Jeff & Renee are great - very easy to talk to & super informative about the area. Willie the camp dog is really child friendly & super gentle! We strung up our hammock, grilled on the campfire, indulged in s'mores galore & made some really nice new friends at the Alpaca! Thanks for an amazing vacation... All the way from NC. A+
