Specializing in overnight sites for the weary I-40 cross-country traveler.
Palo Duro Canyon is located just across the street. Water Park, local livestock, Wonderland Amusement Park, the Leaning Tower of Texas, Hodgetown Stadium (Sod Poodles), Cadillac Ranch and Big Texan Steak Ranch.
Aok is A-OK! Easy in and easy out with pull thru level sites and full hookup. Perfect stopover in our travels.
Nice park. Served our purpose of an overnight stay. Full hookup close to the famous Big Texan steakhouse restaurant. Cute donkey and llama.
Good for an overnight stop although I wouldn't mind staying longer to save money. $17, self service pay drop. cash or check only. Pull thru, FHU, shade tree, grass, level site for $17 is a bargain! Be sure to visit Jack Sisemore's RV museum! We also enjoyed the Cadillacs art installation on I40. Take some spray paint and leave your mark!
Honor system in play here, don’t see that often these days, and help yourself to available spots. Tommy was very helpful and welcoming. Enjoyed the animals and the peace and quiet. Level gravel spots with grass area next to each one with full hook ups.
Good place for an overnight. No frills , but felt safe. Loved the animals. Worth the price. Will stay again .
Was easy to find and easy for my 48’ of rig to maneuver. I did mistake the A Frame house for the office. Drive straight in and it’s on the back side of the Title Loan building. I arrived at dusk with two other campers and there were still a few spots left. The spaces are large and level with rock. The hook ups aren’t super close to the site, so you might need longer hoses. WiFi didn’t work for me. Great for an overnight stop with fhu and no frills. Can’t beat the price of $14.
It was difficult to find, as the signage was small and bent, probably from the last storms that went through. There was a nice turn around just past it, I am sure that was added because people needed it. The park is Behind a TitleMax. Next to the highway, the traffic was not a problem for us. The price $14.00, great WiFi and Verizon 4bars. Never meet the owner or manager. Talk with Tommy, the owner, very accommodating and friendly. Told me to take an envelope which had the WiFi code printed on it. The sites are wide enough for our 40ft Newmar with a tow. A few young trees, gravel level sites, no frills. Next to farm land. It rain all night, didn’t have any trouble driving out the next morning, although there were standing water everywhere.
Aug 2016 A basic campground, but perfect for a quick overnight stop - easy on/off I40. Level gravel pull-throughs.
