On the 1st Saturday before the 4th of July, we have a big fireworks show at dusk. During the day there is a kids fishing tournament, kid games, water slides, and music at Bar-B-Q cook off. Large cash prizes.

Nearby fishing at the following lakes Lake Monticello, Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake Cypress, and Lake Wright Patman. Also nearby is a Wildlife Refuge (2 miles) and Bow Ranch (1 mile).
