All ages are welcome for short term stays. Longer stays (over 2 weeks) are 55+ only. PA is valid year-round. From Jan thru March, PA is valid for 3 nights. The rest of the year valid 7 nights. Reservations and drive-ups welcome. PA not valid on premium sites. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. *Rates are for 2 people. $2 for each add’l person per day.
Located 5 miles from McAllen and 40 miles from Harlingen. On the Rio Grande River at the end of South Conway, just 2 miles south of Expressway 83. I-2 W going thru Mission, take Conway Exit and take off ramp on right to the light. Then turn left at light on Conway going south. Go approx 7 miles, go over rail road tracks and take the first right, Chimney Rd, and follow it up and over the levy to the park.
Quiet, down home feeling where everybody makes you feel welcome. We have camp workers and employees that keep the park well maintained and neat. The park has 192 sites available to the public to be rented out, just the right size to be friendly and get to know your neighbors. We have clubhouse, mail boxes where most activities are held and open 24 hours for your convenience with internet available in the clubhouse.
This is an active senior (55+) community. This is just a sample of fun things to do during the Winter season when you are here at Chimney Park RV Resort on the Rio Grande Valley. Resort activities include: bingo, potlucks, flea market, ice cream socials, card games, variety shows, church services, Red Hat Society, jam sessions, dance parties, Thanksgiving party, New Years Eve party, and sightseeing. River boat rides and bird watching. Golf Cart Rodeo, Mardi Gras Party, Senior Olympics, monthly dinners, and Saturday Breakfast. Winter Season: Water Volleyball.
Close by you’ll find Riverside club has food and boat rides, lots of shopping, WalMart, Target and lots of restaurants, Best Buy, movie theater, 10 miles from Airport, several grocery stores in area, Pet Smart and veterinarian, several hospitals in three miles, close to Mexico, surrounding towns have Fiestas during season, South Padre Island, flea market, bird watching, & National Butterfly Center.
We stayed there a couple of nights to visit relatives that live at the border...great park! Beautiful and calm location by the river. Immaculate pool and super friendly owners! Will stay again when we visit the Valley!
