Eastbound I-10, take Exit 797, stay left and make a u-turn under freeway at Hwy 146. Stay on service road, make another u-turn under freeway, then follow to entrance on the right. Westbound I-10, take Exit 798, stay on service road through Hwy 146. Continue on service road to u-turn under freeway, then follow to entrance on the right.

Royal Purple Raceway, Pirates Bay Water Park, and a short distance to Houston, Kemah, Boardwalk, and Galveston.

Enjoyed gated community. Concrete pads, nice people.

Generally a good park. Close to the freeway but the noise is not overwhelming. Unfortunately the offramp is just past the entrance so you have to drive an extra two miles in a weird loop to access the entrance. Sites are level and concrete. They are a bit close for my taste, but I've been to worse. Utilities worked well. Wifi usable but not consistent. There are lags and outages and for some reason my Verizon reception was really weak in this location. However, I had a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

On our trip from Pitsburgh to Long Beach. This was a nice change. It does not have any trees but it is a very clean and quiet park. Best of all the WiFi is great for streaming.
