We have come here for winters the last three years. Wish we had known about this park before then because stayed in city of bandera park that was not half as nice. Beautiful views and very quiet. Love to feed the deer each night. Debi the owner is the most helpful and accommodating host than any other PA park we have been in. It’s a great place to sit around a campfire and enjoy the peace and quiet. Very highly recommend this park.
You really should check out this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay at a really low price. I would describe this as a Mom and Pop establishment. No clubhouse or pool, but level sites, decent hookups, wifi that is streamable (it helps that the park is small so very few others use the same band), a lovely view of Bandera and regular visits from some deer friends. I am now kicking myself that I booked another park after my two days here. I would have gladly spent more time here.
Quiet little campground on top of hill with steady breeze and some shade. Full hookups, some picnic tables, no fire rings, most accommodating owner Debbie. Near Bandera, Cowboy Capital of the World. Excellent motorcycle riding, BBQ, local music. Close to San Antonio, wine country, quaint old towns. Came for 3 days and stayed 15!!
This is a small campground with great views 360 degrees around you. Debbie, the host, is very nice and keeps you informed of any weather problems. 7-8 deer come visit each night. It is a nice ride to Fredericksburg, TX. I would definitely come here again.
