Really enjoyed our stay. The park was clean, safe, quiet and the staff was very friendly. The park has improved drastically since the last time we stayed. I believe the park is under new management, and we will definately stay again next year. - Tanya R. 10/22/24
What a beautiful view. Amazing people.
Stayed for 2 nights in September. Super nice hosts, very clean & nice level site. Great playground for the kiddos. Close to all amenities. We will stay there again.
Surprisingly wonderful campground! The only PA campground in Youkon territory. Beautiful grassy area to park, next to Teslin lake! So worth the extra few miles…especially to take in the carcross desert . Isn’t hardly any farther from the junction to white horse. Loved my stay there!!
Very nice and welcoming rv park. clean showers and restrooms. Beautiful grounds and well maintained. Fun place for kids to play! Nice management! Very Helpful
Aok is A-OK! Easy in and easy out with pull thru level sites and full hookup. Perfect stopover in our travels.
This place is a hidden gem. Mountain stream runs thru property with bridge from early 1900’s. Huge recreation room with library. Grounds and bath/shower/laundry areas are immaculate. Staff (Candy, Kathy, and Veronica) were welcoming and eager to answer all questions. The radon mine is unique and guests and stories were riveting. Surrounding landscape is spectacular. A must visit.
We found this wonderfully quiet, beautiful campground on a whim, thanks to Passport America. The owners are absolutely wonderful, not to mention they have 2 beautiful pups. We WILL be back!
Nice greasy park with trees, overlooking Wanapum Lake/Columbia River. Quiet. Great hostess, Charlotte, checked us in after 5pm. Not busy. Lots to explore nearby, petrified Trees of Stone trailhead, Wild Horse monument, trails, gem shop ++. No real restaurant here anymore, gas station food and espresso shop. Sorta near the Gorge Amphitheatre. Was nice and sunny, but windy today. Should be Good stargazing. Cheaper than state parks!
This was such a nice campground! We were I Site F11 up in back. Wide open space in front of us. The sites itself were on the small side and the sewer hookups were very high, but that’s it for the down side for us. There’s a putting course, a pool (still open on 9/12) and a great ice cream store! It was quiet and I wish we had more time here.
Leah and Cheryl, Thank you so much for your hospitality. This is one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds that we have been to in a long time. You ladies are awesome. We will be back.
We only stayed here one night, and it was a little off the beaten path, but everybody we met there was nice. The spots that were available only had 50 amp service, but the owner let us borrow a 50 to 30 amp adapter. It's a little rough around the edges, but everything worked. Also, I don't think they have movie nights anymore.
Certain parts of this park are truly beautiful. There's even a hiking trail on the other side past the wedding venue. There weren't any events during the weekend that we stayed there, so my wife and I got to explore a little bit... the cabins look nice too.
The pool and spas are excellent, these might be the best reasons to stay here. Hamburger type restaurant across the street is a plus, I have eaten there several times. The pickle ball courts, tennis court and 9 hole golf course are in good condition and are well used during season. I have stayed in the RV here several winter seasons.
Very nice park! Updated and very well maintained. Front of the park is across the street from the office. Sites are back in with pavestone pads and picnics bench. Sites near the road have a view of a small bay near the office which also has a fishing pier. Well maintained dog run with actual grass! Staff was informative and accommodating. Stayed one night on trip to the keys. Has cabins as well as extended stay lots at back of park. Would stay here again for certain!
We stayed here recently. We are the newbies. Jay and Debra were the most awesome hosts we could ever have. Debra runs the office, she answered our many questions. Never once seemed to be annoyed and there were lots and lots of questions! Jay was there to help us set up. He was so awesome. Explained what we need to do and taught us how to get it all hooked up and ready for our 3 night stay. Checked on us when he saw us outside, making sure we were doing okay. We loved the open space this park offers. We will be back!!
what a great park. friendly place well kept
Stayed here in late July and had the campground to ourselves. Only has electric hookup. The restrooms and showers were clean but pretty basic. The Grotto itself is a MUST SEE attraction when going through Iowa. It truly is a diamond in an Iowa cornfield! A Catholic priest, Father Dobberstein, spent 42 years of his life, hand setting thousands ( maybe millions) of semiprecious stones in mortar. He built a 40 foot tall monument to his faith that covers a city block. This was the highlight attraction of my 5200 mile trip through the Midwest. Definitely WORTH the drive to West Bend Iowa!
Nice family owned campground. They had many activities for kids, including an air hockey table. Restrooms and showers were clean, and the location on a river was very picturesque. Would stay here again and highly recommend it.
A very nice family owned campground. The restrooms and showers were clean, and the owner was easy to work with. They actually ENJOY getting Passport America customers and honored the discount without changes.
