Stayed here three nights when going from Jax, Fl to South Carolina and needed a few nights to get the reservations to line up between two visited places. The park is brand new and stuff still opening. The pool still had not been state approved but they were promising opening any day. The pool area looks nice as does all areas. The exercise room is first class, with two tvs and internet channels available.
Had a recent stay here and had an awesome experience. I am a brand new member and didn’t completely understand the campground rules as they apply to PA members. The manager at the campground understood and accommodated us, but also clarified the rules to help out others like me. Nice to find places and people that actually believe in customer satisfaction and values.
We stayed here for 3 nights. It is beautiful and very peaceful. Would definitely return.
Very nice park and a wonderful staff. Next time we are in the area, will definitely stop by again.
WOW!!! This should be a must visit if you are anywhere near West Bend Iowa. The devotion of Fathers Dobberstein and Greving to build a stone monument to Christ and Mary is quite astonishing! We did one Monday night at their electric only campground in late July and had the place to ourselves. The restrooms were pretty clean and the showers were passable. I would rate them a B on the campground scale. The Grotto itself was an A++ in beauty and workmanship. I highly recommend taking the time to visit.
Nice place, very clean and resort cleanliness....
New park and very level big drive thru pads. Dog park and plenty of doggy potty spots. Bathroom very nice. I just wish they had a few big trees. They will be big one day. We will stay again if in the area. Good internet, cell phone service and plenty tv channels.
Awesome Dog Park!
This campground was a true gem. It was off the beaten path and a little rustic but so beautiful and fun. The people were so friendly. The sites were very spacious and nice. There was a pool, a walking trail, and lots to see. It was a beautiful place.
It was one of the friendliest and lively campgrounds I have ever stayed at. They are celebrating 55 years in business, and I can see why. The nearby lake is beautiful. They have playground equipment and a volleyball badminton net . Restrooms and showers are pretty good, not Buccees good, but a solid B in the campground scale. I would definitely stay here again. My Passport America rate was happily honored but only good for one night. Good place, I highly recommend them!
Very nice and clean place. Spots are very wide and almost level with lava rocks. Not much shade, but trees are growing. Windy afternoon, but nice views of surrounding mountains. Camp hosts Debbie and Jay, are nice and very helpful. I used the Passport america pass and paid cash, so got a great deal.
This is an awesome park, just off of 95. We stop here usually twice a year. Owners and staff are amazing, the park is clean and with lots of amenities. WIFI is good, close to Steffens in Kingsland, great southern food diner.
This is our second visit to this campground. Both times have been wonderful. It is peaceful, clean and beautiful park setting. Staff is friendly and very helpful, brought us a picnic table. We will be back.
Stayed there for 3 days and enjoyed the peace & quiet and the view immensely. The owner was fantastic to everyone there. We would stay there again.
